Nik Patel is the founder of TechAppy, a service that helps people with their home IT problems.
Nik is a natural problem solver with excellent technical knowledge and is a pragmatic trouble shooter. He is reliable, trustworthy and has the exceptional ability to explain technology in a language that anyone can understand.
Nik has over 20 years of industry experience, has worked at many establishments on their IT needs, these have included government institutions, private sector corporations and start-ups, across a range of industries.
Nik holds a bachelor’s degree in Computing from University of Westminster and has held a number of professional accreditations as an IT professional over the course of his career.
The idea for TechAppy was born in 2016. When redundancy came knocking after 16 years building his career in IT, Nik decided it was time for a short break. Nik fulfilled one of his dreams to drive Route 66 across America and ended his career break with a trip around Vietnam and Cambodia. It was in between these trips when fixing IT issues for friends and family locally and thoroughly enjoying helping people was when the epiphany struck and the seeds for TechAppy were sown.
